SonRise Baptist Church is composed of a close-knit group of believers that strive to edify and encourage one another in the Lord. Below are a few of our core beliefs but if you’re wanting a more in-depth dive, click Here for a look at our full doctrinal statement.

  • The Bible
    • We believe the Bible is inspired by God and is 100% accurate including both its words and ideas.
    • We believe in a literal translation
  • God
    • We Believe that there is one God that consists of three persons (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit)
    • We believe that God is eternal and is the creator of the universe
    • We believe the Jesus Christ was the perfect son of God the Father who came to this earth as fully man and fully God.
    • We believe that Jesus Christ died for all men, was buried, and rose again the third day so that He might “save the lost”
    • We believe that all Christians are currently indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
  • The Gospel
    • We believe that all men have sinned and therefore are in need of a savior.
    • We believe that belief in Jesus’ sin-conquering death, burial and resurrection is the only means by which one is able to have a relationship with God and ultimately be able to spend eternity with Him in heaven.

Why We Meet?

Fellowship with other like-minded Christians is commanded in the Bible for a variety of reasons including to:

  • “Spur one another on toward love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
  • “Carry each other’s burdens (Galatians 6:2),
  • “Teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit” (Colossians 3:16)
  • “Sharpen one another” (Proverbs 27:17)

Service Times

Sunday Morning Worship: 9:30 A.M.

Sunday School: 11:00 A.M.

Wednesday night prayer meeting: 7:00 P.M.

In between the main service and Sunday School, we do enjoy a time of fellowship and coffee/snacks which you are always welcome to join in. We look forward to meeting you and helping you start and/or grow your relationship with our great God!
